Let’s put it this way.
Donald Trump never said that the women on his staff should dress like a woman. It was Mike Allen, a politician and a journalist, reporting the “source” in his newsletter. Mike does his job and the Internet follows his lead.
That little hint grew like my grandmother’s prostate, it quickly becomes an enlarged news. In a short space of time, the Truth turns into: “Donald Trump wants women to dress like women”.
So, here we are, posting #Dresslikeawoman to show our solidarity with the American women. Beyond the ocean, we are like them.
We never thought, not even for a moment, that the news was a fake: it could be true, it sounded true.
We’ve been here before, with Berlusconi. For 20 years, we were just ‘whores’, thank you very much.
We don’t need masters or rulers anymore. We need men.
We still need them in our government.
It’s weird, because we have quite a few of them: real men, men who help, do, drive, inspire other men and women.
And we want to state it, strong and clear: #BehaveLikeAMan
Sure, we can even dress like women.
But please, you behave ‘like a man’ first.
